Meet clients and understand their design needs. Create layouts, floor plans, and 3D designs. Select colors, furniture, materials, and lighting. Prepare project budgets and estimates. Coordinate with contractors and suppliers. Visit sites to monitor project progress. Ensure designs are attractive, safe, and functional. Use software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit. Maintain a portfolio of completed projects. Requires creativity, communication, and attention to detail.
Requirements & Responsibilities
Degree/diploma in Interior Design. Creativity and good design sense. Knowledge of materials, colors, furniture, and lighting. Skills in CAD and 3D design software. Good communication and teamwork. Knowledge of construction and safety standards. Problem-solving and time-management skills. Practical experience and a good portfolio.
